Transportation Display Applications

The use of electronics in vehicles is growing rapidly. More and more demand is being placed on transportation display technology to provide operators the information they need. For that reason, high information content displays are being used in applications such as global positioning, routing, fleet communications and operational efficiency monitoring.

Because of its high performance levels in brightness (daylight readability), ease of viewing (viewing angle and high contrast) and environmental ruggedness (shock, vibration and wide operating temperature range) electroluminescent technology is finding increasing use in on-board transportation display applications.
